Norcast’s foundry in Mont-Joli, Quebec, Canada is one of the
largest foundries in North America and focuses on the
production of mill liner castings.
With state of the art equipment in every phase of
manufacture, the Mont-Joli operations use digital technology
for pattern production.
Ideally configured for flexibility, a computer controlled No-
Bake moulding line prepares moulds in a continuous, steady-
state fashion.
A train of state-of-the-art, nine ton, induction furnaces, prepare melts for castings as big as six tons. Our alloy suite includes chrome-moly steel, high chrome white irons, nickel alloys.
We can also meet specific customer alloy specifications.
Heat treat and finishing are completed in a manner which consistently allows us to meet the most stringent of customer requirements and also
the flexibility to satisfy each customer’s unique needs.
Located along the south shore of the St. Lawrence river, near the deep water port of Montreal, and equipped with road and rail service,
the facility is well suited to service customers worldwide.

Norcast operates two foundries in Melaka, On a large site of
approximately 10 acres.
Malaysia 1: Production of handling, conveying,
crushing and custom castings. Foundry has been in operation
since 1989 and is able to produce a range of alloys, including
Manganese, steel and high-chrome irons.
Malaysia 2: Production of grinding mill liner castings. Foundry
was constructed in 2008 to a world-class standard and re-
developed in 2010 to produce mill liner castings to Norcast’s
industry leading standard. Foundry is able to produce castings
up to 7,000 KG in size and focuses on Steel and chrome iron
alloys.
Loss/Wax Form: Norcast produces a range of
parts for the purpose of loss wax casting ranging from 0.5kg
to 25kg
Foundry is located in a manufacturing friendly region of Malaysia and able to ship to customers cost effectively through either Singapore or Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Norcast operates a large and highly capable machining and logistics centre in Singapore.
Based in arguably the premier logistics region of the world,
products are reviewed, consolidated and dispatched to even
the most challenging destinations with speed and efficiency.
A variety of finishing operations can be performed (welding,
machining, assembly) under stringently controlled conditions,
conforming to industry and customer standards, including
the highly technical marine industry.
This facility can accommodate staging and cross-docking of
even the most complex shipments.
