With state of the art equipment in every phase of manufacture, the Mont-Joli operations use digital technology for pattern production.
Ideally configured for flexibility, a computer controlled No-Bake moulding line prepares moulds in a continuous, steady-state fashion.
A train of state-of-the-art, nine ton, induction furnaces, prepare melts for castings as big as six tons. Our alloy suite includes chrome-moly steel, high chrome white irons, nickel alloys. We can also meet specific customer alloy specifications.
Located along the south shore of the St. Lawrence river, near the deep water port of Montreal, and equipped with road and rail service, the facility is well suited to service customers worldwide.
Heat treat and finishing are completed in a manner which consistently allows us to meet the most stringent of customer requirements and also the flexibility to satisfy each customer’s unique needs.
Grinding Media are produced in a second foundry on the same plant site. This unit is optimized for high volume, continuous pouring of cast iron. This gives our media not only the consistency demanded by such a product, but also the cost effectiveness demanded by our customers.
